Minutes of Board Meeting March 18, 2013

In attendance: Jacquie Kirby, David Fish, Wayne Kessler, Dave Chajkowski, Gary Marr, Yvonne Abela, Don Fry, Lee Morrison

Meeting called to order 7:03p.m.

Discussion of dues coming in.  So far, 242 fully paid members.  The PBCA is down from last year’s total of 298 fully paid members.  Advertising has been coming in for newsletter.  A new dues reminder/directory confirmation latter has gone out.

Easter Egg hunt is March 24, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Hidden Park.  Free to all.  If you have some treat, please feel free to bring it to share.

Hidden Park tanbark day is April 12, 2013, and Pavilion Park/Front Park mulch day is April 19, 2013.  Both are on a Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm.  If it rains on Friday, the event will take place on Saturday beginning at 9 am.  Discussion of what kind of weed killer to put out along with the mulch at Pavilion and Front Park.   Need someone to help with delivery of tanbark and mulch. 

Jacquie is still looking for volunteers for a garden committee. 

Discussion of neighborhood solicitors.  Last week, residents complained about a lawn care company sending solicitors out after 8pm.  Solicitors must have a permit from the township. If they do not have one, please call the Hampden Police non-emergency number at 761-2609. 

Discussion of the upcoming bridge replacement.  The bridge is set to be constructed by 2017.  There will be a process that will involve the portion of Front Park that will be taken by the county for the bridge construction.  The association has not received any information on the process yet. 

Discussion of when the soda machine and water will be turned on at Pavilion Park.
