January 2016 PBCA Board meeting
Board meeting January 18, 2016
In attendance: Lee Morrison, Kim Zurflieh , Ann Ulp, David Fish, Wayne Kessler, Ramon Marin, Don Fry, Jean Lowe, Darrel Seaman, Karen Szukalski
Meeting started 7:00 p.m.
Discussion of minutes from December meeting. Accepted as they were and they will be posted on line
Ramon discussed budget from 2015. Overall, the budget was on track as expected. With expenses of $21,660 in 2015, there was a surplus of $677 which will go to replenish the Rainy Day Fund. The largest expenses were landscaping.
In 2016, there will be a few items added to the budget for necessary repairs. There will be added expenses for landscaping, tree maintenance and Pavilion repair. The budgeted amount for 2016 will be $21,000. Budget was accepted by the board.
Discussion of the 2016 annual dues letter. The letter will go out to the neighborhood via email and then by mail. Dues collection can begin.
The PBCA Board meetings will take place on the following days:

The meetings will take place at 420 Lamp Post Ln., Camp Hill, PA
Kim mentioned someone from Prowell Drive approached her about getting permission from Pine Brook to have a concave mirror installed on Orrs Bridge to increase visibility for people leaving Prowell Drive. The pole for the mirror may have to go on a portion of Pine Brook property. More information will be provided.
Discussion of residents leaving trailers, recreational trailer and work trucks on their property or in front of their house. Other residents are parking their cars and blocking their sidewalks. The board will talk with township police to discuss what the ordinances are.

March 26 – Easter egg hunt at Hidden Park – 11:00 a.m. (setup at 10:00 a.m.) (Saturday) (Easter on March 27)
April 2, 2016 – Weeding/spraying at Pavilion Park and Front Park 11:00 a.m.
April 15 – Friday evening Mulch day and party at Hidden Park 5 - 8pm Saturday as rain date 4-7 pm.
May 6, May 7 – Spring Yard sale
May 17 – Begin Tuesday nights at the Pavilion. (Depending on weather - too cold?)
August 28 – Annual meeting letter mailed.
September 12 – bike parade (11:00 a.m.) Summer Picnic date yet to be set
September 12 – Neighborhood Picnic (Beginning at 3:00 p.m.) To be determined
October 3 – Annual Meeting. Election of board, President and Vice-president
October 14, 15 – Fall yard sale
October 29 – Pumpkin Patch at Pavilion Park
November 28??? - Operation Ho-Ho & Caroling – at Pavilion. 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
